Ice Cream Shop Job and Cooking

Working at Mrs. Walker's is so much fun!
I love scooping ice cream for people.
Making shakes is okay, too,
but a little more difficult and messy.
I broke the machine, too, and got shake all over.
It was chocolate, too...
Mopping and stuff at the end of the night's tiring, as well.
But, it is rewarding!
Yesterday, when my friend and I came for ice cream,
I got to scoop my own,
and make Michael's shake!
It was awesome.
The manager even said my ice cream was free!
And tonight, the manager gave me more free ice cream!
It must be an employee benefit.
I love my new job! ^_^

On a side note, I made crepes for breakfast today,
with strawberry-banana sauce.
Both were my own recipe.
Michael said it was delicious. ^_^
It's always nice when a new recipe turns out wonderful.
Maybe I should write these recipes down,
and make a cookbook, as people recommended.
I probably would make a fortune...
not to sound like a braggart, or anything.
I just seem to have a knack for cooking.
Plus, it's something I really, really, love to do!
That always helps, loving what you're good at.
True, sometimes recipes are a flop,
but other times, they're great.
I made coconut fish-rice the other night,
and everyone loved it, to my surprise,
although it did not come out quite as I had planned.
Yet, cooking's like an art-
it rarely comes out as planned.
Of course, it is sciency, too,
since you have to know what goes well together,
and about how much of each ingredient can go in.
Maybe that's why I love it so much-
it's a scientific art,
that pleases people and is yummi!
